Balmoral, Belfast

Balmoral is one of the ten districts found in the southern part of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Like other major towns, its construction started in the early 19th century and it has developed over the years thanks to its industrial prowess. In the past few years, we have seen a hike in the number of settlements in the area, this is because most homebuyers prefer living a soft and quiet life away from the noisy city center. Even though it was built in ancient times, there has been a regeneration that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and this has made the city get listed in the top best places to visit in the world.

Like the other towns in Belfast, Balmoral has a lavish countryside that homes some of the richest people in the country, these uptown places are ideal for walks and nature strolls. It is a very secure place, this made it emerge among the safest places to visit while in Belfast. Balmoral is also home to some of the greatest entertainment spots in the area and with life slowly coming back to normal after the pandemic, bars, churches, social halls have all resumed their services, making it an ideal place to visit.

Balmoral town is also home to the famous Balmoral Castle, a large estate owned by Queen Elizabeth. This castle has been one of the many homes to the Royal Family from the 1850s. In 1860, this castle was demolished to pave way for a new one. It was added to the royal family successfully and it now covers around 60,000 acres of space. Many animals are being reared there at the moment such as cattle and poultry.

Belfast is the capital city of the Republic of Northern Ireland. It has a population of over 350,000 people making it a weekend getaway spot for most people. The town is well advanced and handles its tourists with professionalism. Its name means mouth of the sandbank and it also doubles up as the biggest city in Ireland. It suffered a lot of violence that came with the partitioning of Ireland in the ancient days but it is peaceful now.
